The idea behind the newly created categorisation is to expand the culinary experience of travellers with an unforgettable stay at a venue offering much more than just accommodation. Complementing the electronic version of the guide is a mobile app that allows you to select a hotel and share your experiences.
The Michelin team of experts is working across the globe to create a guide to the best hotels, and their evaluation is based on five core criteria:
a location that is a tourist attraction in itself
excellent interior design and architecture
unique atmosphere and ambience
the highest quality of guest service and comfort during their stay
consistency between the experience and the price paid.
